Success Stories invited for Annual Report
Success Stories of NREGS among the works of 2008-09 have been invited from all the Block Development Officer & Block Programme Officer of NREGS of the district. Success stories will mean not only a mere statistics of the scheme undertaken, but also its necessity, no. of SC, ST, Minority benefited, participation of women, innovativeness of the scheme, 2 or 3 statements/quotes from the Job Card Holders who got employment in the scheme as well as some of those villagers who were benefited, social impact of the scheme if any, effect on migration of labours, School dropouts, increased decision making and purchasing power of women.
We have not received any success story from Ausgram-I, Bhatar, Burdwan-I, Jamalpur, Jamuria, Kalna-I, Kalna-II, Katwa-II, Ketugram-I, Ketugram-II, Khandaghosh, Memari-II, Monteswar, Pandabeswar, Purbasthali-I, Purbasthali-II, Raina-II, Raniganj, Salanpur Blocks till date. Best of these will be sent for publishing in the Annual Report of the State.
